Time Era (1915)

For Men's Fashion I'm going to talk about how it changed over time from 1915 to 2015. In the 1915 mostly all the men would wear is suites and overcoats that were custom made by a tailor. There where quite a few styles the men would choose from; there was about four types of different styles. From button style, long laps, long wide laps, and patch or flap pocket. Tuxedos or cutaways would be used for daytime use or evening formal events. There were two types of jackets called Norfolk and Mackinaw that where available for outdoor use.

Also in the 1911 they changed the appetence into a slimmer look to make the person look younger. Instead of having the boxy cut of the suite it was changed to a barrel-chest look made it look more slime. From having the jackets at a 40" it was changed to a 30" made it have a straight look with slight openings at the bottom of the jacket. Sleeves became slimmer and featured the four buttons at the end of the cuff. The holders were slimmer, often most suites didn't have the padding at the shoulders anymore.  The three button jacket was the favorite, also the long rolling lapels were starting to come back.
