In the late 1960’s was an exact opposite
of a casual classy look. It moved into bright, swirling colors, psychedelic,
tie-dye shirts, long hair, and beards were being coming a common look now. Woman
started to wear unbelievable short skirts and men wore tunics and caps. It was
like the 1950‘s bottled up everyone and just made them exploded in the late
1960’s like a pressure cooker. Also women were showing more skin then ever
before.
For the men’s look changed from ties,
belts, lapels got wider, collars got longer and wider, and there was a different
type of bell bottoms called “flared’ were becoming popular. The men’s suite
took on a change with some geometric designs along the flare in the pants leg
and a wider lapel. Polo’s and sport shirts were becoming the new casual look,
but polo’s were really the popular go to for a casual look. Also men’s business
attire was taking a change in colors and looks. Patterns were growing bolder
and as well color choices. No longer were the blue, black, or grey suite
choices. Shirts and ties became more colorful as well.
