What Did Men Wear In The 80's??

In the 1980’s men fashion really had to do with what they were into socially and musically. The style dramatically changed in the 70’s to the 80’s. There was no more of the disco look more of a pop stars, hip hop cultural, hair-metal band and action movie stars. Fashion trends are also reflected what was worn on TV shows by starts that were that ruled the decade with their bold fashion sense. Many of this styles had no limit. Like it was common to see a man dressed in work clothes that also seemed like for more casual events; like going to a nightclub or for a party. Basically whatever you you where into the 80’2 there was a fashion style that suited your personal taste. The average man really may have not worn exactly the same casual wear as men in the movie or television have worn. The look that ruled over the 80’s was often a casual and cool look. There was a very popular TV show I the 1980’s called “Miami Vice” and the men followed the style of the two main characters called Don Johnson and Phillip Michael.

A lot of men wore casual t-shirts under a designer jacket witch had shoulder pads on It. Suites were in white, pastel, or a very bright color. The shoes they would wear would be loafers or boat shoes with out the socks. Men would also wear a pushed-up sleeves and an open jacket. It was also common to wear a shirt without a tie to the office. In the 80’s there was a hit show called “Magnum” they wore Hawaiian shirts this shirts can be seen both in office and on weekends.
